The body was refinished in its current shade of red under previous ownership in 2016 and is equipped with a power-operated tan soft top that was reportedly replaced in November 2010. Additional features include side mirrors, quadruple headlights, rear fender skirts, and chrome trim on the grille, bumpers, window surrounds, and wheel arches. The top mechanism was serviced reportedly serviced between 2009 and 2010, the passenger door lock cylinder was rekeyed in 2016, and the exterior light bulbs were replaced in 2020. The antenna is missing a piece of trim at its base.
The 15″ wire-spoke wheels wear whitewall tires, the front left of which was reportedly replaced in December 2017. The car is equipped with power steering along with power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brakes and suspension components are said to have been refreshed between 2008 and 2010. The seller notes there is a brake fluid leak, and a flat tire was repaired in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features seating for four upholstered in red leather and accompanied by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Chrome and brushed aluminum trim adorns the interior, and additional equipment includes a center console, power-adjustable driver’s seat, rubber floor mats up front, an analog clock, and a Retrosound vintage-look radio with an auxiliary input. The interior was retrimmed under prior ownership between 2006 and 2007, and the radio was installed in 2016.
The two-spoke red-rimmed steering wheel was refinished in 2015 and is mounted to a swing-away steering column. Instrumentation includes a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and battery status. The five-digit odometer shows 62k miles, approximately 120 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 390ci V8 is equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and was rebuilt under prior ownership in 2007. Records compiled by the seller indicate that the fuel tank was replaced in 2007, the radiator was replaced in 2013, and the battery was replaced in 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed C6 automatic transmission and a 3.00:1 standard differential. The transmission was reportedly rebuilt in 2007.
