The car was factory-finished in Burgundy Mist with a vinyl roof and was repainted using a basecoat-clearcoat system under previous ownership. Exterior equipment includes a replacement black vinyl roof covering, concealed stacked headlights, a stylized “R” hood ornament, a remote-controlled driver-side mirror, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome-clad 15″ rally-style wheels wear 225/45 Hankook narrow-whitewall tires installed in approximately 2021. A full-size spare is located in the trunk. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front and rear drums.
The front and rear bucket seats are upholstered in white vinyl. Interior appointments include manual-crank side and vent windows, replacement black carpets, a center console, and woodgrain trim. The air conditioning does not blow cold, the radio and clock are inoperative, and the remote mirror adjuster bezel is missing.
The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a 140-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and warning lights for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership. A remote button under the dash activates the horn.
The LT-code 401ci Nailhead V8 was retrofitted with dual four-barrel carburetors and a chrome air cleaner was added by a previous owner. The seller states the carburetors were rebuilt, a PerTronix ignition module was fitted, and that the heads are equipped with hardened valve seats.
